why are people treating the steinberg article like it's bad news? we know he's in with sullivan, so the owner has greenlit the following stories:

steidten can't stand moyes and will likely fuck off it he stays: "Sources believe he is frustrated with the way that West Ham operate and feels that he has not been given enough power. That could change if West Ham decide to part company with Moyes, whose contract expires at the end of the season"

steidten wants to pick the pick the next manager: "It is expected that Steidten’s thinking could change if he plays a leading role in any hunt for a new coach."

the players have had a neckful of moyes' negative tactics and would appreciate a change: " There have been complaints over West Ham’s cautious style of play, with some players understood to be unenthused with Moyes’s brand of football."

moyes was the colononic blockage when it came to getting players in: "Moyes was not aligned with the recruitment team on attacking targets during January."

seems moyes' comments after forest have really rubbed the imp the wrong way and he's chosen to throw him under the bus.

This is nonsense really, innit? I don't know why he didn't get the job at Chelsea, or the one at Spurs, but I do know that the Chelsea approach was long before we went in for him, so he hardly turned them down just so he could maybe join us half a year later.

He was unemployed for 5-6 months when we got him in. After it became known that Chelsea were interested and were looking for references, Leverkusen sacked him as they didn't want him knowing about their future transfer targets and passing it on to another club. So, he lost his job and Chelsea still didn't take him on, and neither did Spurs when he was on their shortlist.

Any idea that he joined us because of some sugar daddy takeover on the horizon is pure fantasy.

Sullivans lifelong dream . Has always been to own Cardiff city . And by chance there's a huge stadium in that city. No doubt once he sells us and he will this summer . Would have been last summer until David gold the real WHUFC supporter passed away will stroll in there . And Say the 2009 built stadium is falling apart and can no longer be maintained like he did Upton park .he's so transparent it's a joke .

He's had 9 years scouting at Werder Bremen, so hopefully he knows what he's doing.

Not that keen on this kind of nepotism, although probably better him than Moyes' son. Good to see that we seem to be building up the scouting and data team, regardless of what happens with Steidten in the future, although you'd think that this means the end for Newman.

Not sure if people have seen what Steidten said to Sky Germany about the Liverpool gossip. Confirmed that no approach was made, but didn't exactly say he loves it here and never wants to leave, and who could blame him?

"I've heard that I am supposed to be on the list at Liverpool. It is one of the biggest clubs in the world, so it's an honour.

"But so far nobody from LFC has contacted me yet. I generally feel very comfortable at West Ham. I quickly realised how intense this league is. Accordingly, we signed the right players in the last transfer windows. The squad is strong, so we can achieve our goals.
